I love to freeze in time all the details of the beautiful world around me.
I would fill boxes with rolls of film, until we would finally send away to develop a whole bunch at once.
I remember feeling so impatient waiting for them.
I was so excited to see them! I would get antsy-pants when they finally came and I could open the packages of pictures and see what I had captured in time.
I don't remember a time I didn't love photography.
My dad gifted me his camera from his teenage years, and I used it until it fell apart. (R.I.P. beautiful camera.)
I took photography in Highschool, and still remember the smell of the dark room, and the utter joy watching the photos develop.
I graduated to a big girl digital camera early in 2021, became an official business, and have been loving honing my skills through taking photos of pets, landscapes, families, individuals, and of course the beautiful details that I see all around me, every day, wherever I am.
I love depth and reality in my pictures.
I appreciate so much the joy in this photography journey every day.
Through the years I have dabbled in almost all aspects of photography, because I love to improve my skills and try new things.
I truly enjoy this journey of seeing and capturing the beautiful things around me in all ways, and sharing the experience with others.
